MID-WEEK LENTEN SERVICES
Lenten Midweek Services start on February 22nd, at 7:00pm. This Lenten season we’ll be using a series entitled “By My Hand . . . For My Sake.”
For the six weeks of Lent, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter, this nine-part Lent worship series asks, "What is your role in the suffering and death of Christ? Week by week, this question is addressed-- through homilies and monologs by biblical characters who actually did have a hand in the crucifixion of Christ.
This is indeed our theme during Lent. We would be hopelessly lost and dead in our sin were it not for a loving God who sent his son to die for us. We would have no hope, no end to our misery if not for the sinless one hanging on a cruel tree.
What better way to prepare our hearts, minds, and souls for the coming of our Savior, Christ the Lord, than to spend some time with our Christian brothers and sisters?
Please plan to join us for supper at 6:00pm each Wednesday evening in Lent and then join us in the sanctuary for a time of worship and reflection. If you can’t come to supper, please come at 7.
